Hiking Bukit Saga (Update as of 9th November 2019) Step by step

HERE COMES THE STEPS

When you first arrive by searching Bukit Saga through google maps, you will arrive at a residential area (Jalan Saga 28).
Parking is scarce, but you can park at the community town hall area just a street away.

Now trying to get in would be the tricky part, because there seems to be construction going on, and the old entrance is hard to find.

First, you should see a small land god shrine. From there you will find a way up and would probably pass by some vegetation and the construction. You can always ask the construction worker where is the entrance from there on wards. Keep going towards the green trees, you will definitely find a rock wall, fresh water from the top flows down here. This is where the journey begins.

Fast forward to the TOP.

My trusty backpack

At the top you will be greeted with benches, hammocks, makeshift tents and kitchen. Now, as a lively person, I would definitely encourage you to speak to people especially the uncles at the kitchen area, they will let you which route to take to the waterfall and also their own fish pond... no kidding...

good doggo

Fresh water fish

These fresh water fishes are actually raised by the uncle hikers, most of them got spare time, love the nature and beautiful outdoors, so they made everything by hand (of course some tools). Can't spot really big fishes, because most of the big ones got people steal ma...

How to get here you ask? Well, as I said, talk to the uncles and they will lead you down here to carry some water up later on or just spend some relaxing time down here not far from the checkpoint. You can definitely walk down here yourself too.
Hammock Relaxation

Reminder to fellow hikers: Don't leave anything behind but footsteps, don't take anything from the forest but photos and good memories.
After getting enough greenery through your soul, tidy up and follow the route you took to come up back down hill.

Spread the awareness of recycling, cut-down on one time use plastics, the best is not to use them at all, so that we can continue to see, smell and feel the best of what mother nature provides.

Difficulty: Compared to Gasing, Bukit Saga harder because it kills you with steps
Fun Part: Got water flowing, got wind blowing
Duration: 1.5 hours to the top non-stop
